Currently there is no uniform official list of all products that are subject to certification, as the obligation for certification is currently regulated by a series of standards. This includes:

According to federal law № 184 "On Technical Regulation", the Technical Regulation is a document intended to set the properties of products or services as well as the processes and methods of manufacturing procedures relating thereto.

At the end of 2012, the Russian Federal Office for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rosstandart) developed a consolidated list of products that are subject to certification and declaration according to the new Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union. Please note that this list is for informational purposes only.

Machinery and equipment

TR СU 004/2011 On safety of low-voltage equipment

The Technical Regulation describes the safety requirements for low-voltage devices and applies to all devices intended for alternating current of 50 to 1000 volts and direct current of 75 to 1500 volts. Products requiring certification include, for example, electrical household appliances, cables, electrical distributors, etc.

This Technical Regulation applies to equipment intended for food preparation, heating, hot water supply, for block-type combustion engines and gas-powered equipment with block-type combustion engines. Depending on the nature of the equipment, EAC certification is mandatory

This Technical Regulation ensures the necessary level of protection against harmful factors and the absence of impermissible risks which could lead to situations which are dangerous. It contains rules about water production, package, storage, transportation and distribution. The certification obligation applies to the protective equipment of hazard class 2.

The Technical Regulation was developed with the aim of establishing uniform and binding requirements for light industry products and to enable the free movement of products of the light industry on the common customs territory of the Eurasian Customs Union. EAC certification is mandatory for 1st layer arm and legwear, kitchen towels, underwear and bed linen.

Furniture

The Technical Regulation TR СU 025/2012 applies to all furniture placed on the market in the EAEU, i.e either manufactured or imported from abroad. Children's, school and kindergarten furniture is affected by the certification obligation.

The Technical Regulation TR CU 031/2012 is intended to ensure the uniform application and enforcement of the requirements for agricultural and forestry vehicles and trailers, their components and compliance with the permissible emission standards. The conformity assessment takes place only in form of EAC certificate.

The rules contain binding security requirements for mobile, temporarily installed or established attractions with the risk potentials RB-1, RB-2 and RB-3. Depending on the nature of the product, an EAC certification is mandatory.
